Typical Embassy Suite.
Over all, the hotel is average for Embassy suites. The room rate was reasonable for the location and the size of the room, and the property looked reasonably clean. The guy running the bar during the manager's reception was really friendly and nice, but it seemed like they could use another hand to shorten the line a bit. I wasn't very happy about the long wait at the airport shuttle station to be picked up (more than 30 minutes), and a long wait during the check-in (only one clerk at the front desk). The room had a very slight hint of smoke although it was a non-smoking room. I had to catch relatively early in the morning, and was kind of disappointed that I had to miss complimentary breakfast. I think this hotel is nice if you want to take advantage of free drinks in the evening and free breakfast as well as if you need extra space for work etc. I would recommend cheaper alternative for someone who just need a place to sleep before catching a flight the next morning.

Excellent hotel, close to airport, beautiful choice!
We were a little leary of staying so close to the airport and were astounded by the quietness of the room even though our son could clearly see jets coming and going from O’Hare International from about 300 feet away! Amazingly clean rooms and hotel. Front desk was super nice and especially helpful in finding local dining! The continental breakfast every morning was a superb way to start each day! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Stay in a hotel near the airport and out of downtown. We were perfectly capable of getting to downtown in a matter of minutes but we saved a LOT of money because the hotels near the airport are less expensive. This hotel, Embassy Suites O’Hare, saved us a bundle but was definitely not short in service, cleanliness, or luxury!

Excellent service, and a comfortable room.
Seems to me that this was my first stay at an Embassy Suites, and considering what a positive experience this was, I am sure that it won't be my last. Really friendly, professional, and smooth check-in process. If I had any questions about nearby attractions, the staff was quick to provide answers. Directly next to the convention center. Just a short walk. Fast, tasty choices from room service. The free breakfast was HUGE, but the only drawback was that it was luke-warm at best. Would be nice to see that heated up a bit more. The room was somewhat dated, as far as carpet and fixtures; however, I could see that efforts were being made to implement upgrades. An enjoyable stay overall. If I am in this part of Chi again, I plan to say here.

A Nice Airport Hotel.
Stayed at this Embassy Suites 06/26-06/29. Had a great price and easy access to the Blue Line CTA Station which leads right into downtown Chicago. Checkin was easy and the rooms were very nicely appointed. Sofabed pullout was definitely one of the more comfortable ones I've felt, my friends did not complain about sleeping on it. Atrium for breakfast and evening reception was nicely decorated in the standard "rainforest" theme. Breakfast each morning was delicious as always, nice selection of eggs, potatoes, omelets, pastries, bacon and sausage. Manager's reception was .. .. adequate. Their bar stock left a bit to be desired since they did not have but just the bare minimum of liquors and could not make "some" simple drinks. Snacks we're just some popcorn and pretzel mix, but just... adequate. Pool/Jacuzzi and fitness center were great, very nice and lots of windows. A nice location, friendly staff, and nice rooms. I would definitely stay again. And on a side note, for being by the airport, I never once heard a plane fly over except when we were outside.

Perfect Hotel.
This hotel was quite full the weekend we were there but the service was perfect. We experienced a quick check in. Later enjoyed a "happy hour" that was complimentary. The hotel was very quiet and we got a great nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning was extremely tasty with lots of choices. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Great job, Embassy Suites. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay This hotel offers great value as the rooms are very large. Happy hour is complimentary and the breakfast is perfect for every member of the family.

Great stop for flying in and out of O’Hare.
Drove from Michigan and stayed at the Embassy Suites the night before, and the night after, flying out and in to O’Hare Chicago. Great for this kind of trip. The kids got tired out at the pool, the complimentary happy-hour and complimentary breakfast are perfect for us. They even offered long-term parking, and shuttle, so we didn’t have to deal with the airport parking, just took the shuttle into O’Hare. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice and comfortable hotel.
We enjoyed staying at the hotel. The room was very clean. The main attraction in the hotel is its breakfast area with tropical plants and a fountain. The clerks at the desk were very helpful and nice giving us directions around the city to different destinations.

Great Experience.
Stayed for the Motorcycle show across the street. Location was excellent. Staff were friendly, helpful and prompt. Parking was reasonable for the Chicago location ($9.00 per night). We have paid much more at other hotels. Made to order omelets were excellent. The other parts of the breakfast were ok, but the potatoes were cold both mornings. Room was clean and comfortable. Rooms were quiet even with the airport nearby. Would absolutely stay here again.

My favorite hotel to stay at in the Chicago area.
I have stayed here for years and it continues to impress me. I particularly like the room layout. Plenty of space and privacy. Some of the rooms are going to need to be updated in the near future but they are still very comfortable. The free breakfast is great with plenty of selections and the open bar from 5:30 to 7:30 speaks for itself. The common area is a great place for several people to meet and relax.

Good Hotel, Close to O'Hare.
This is a hotel that is close to the airport. It is clean, and quiet. It has an excellent pool and whirlpool. Rooms are clean, and well appointed. There is amovie Theater close by, the restaurant in the hotel is moderately priced, and the menu has a good selection.

Great stay
We stayed at the Embassy for a convention with our grandson in August. It was an excellent choice for a convention, the staff was very accomodating, friendly, and the food was fabulous. It was a short walk to the blue line and going downtown. It is a very safe enviroment.

Wonderful hotel.
Great staff, clean large rooms, and excellent food with easy access to the el train makes this my favorite stay in Chicago. Stayed in August for a convention and will recommend to all.

Great hotel, close to airport.
My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Embassy Suites in Rosemont/Chicago. Having booked a package through Travelocity for air and hotel, we were pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the hotel for the low price we paid. Our suite contained a king size bed, up-to-date decor, two televisions, a mini fridge and microwave. We enjoyed the daily hot breakfast which included custom made omelettes, pancakes, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit and pastries, all served in the lovely and bright atrium area of the hotel. There was a nightly manager's party during which free drinks were served (5:30 - 7:30). Nice touch, though we were never back at the hotel at that time to partake.
The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and quick to assist us with any question we had or when our room pass cards suddenly didn't work. They even graciously offered a late check out time to us when we asked what we could do with our luggage until we left for the airport the evening of our departure.
We chose this location because it is close to O'Hare airport (free shuttles to and from the airport are offered) while still being close to the blue line of the El (CTA public transit). Because of ongoing repairs to the transit lines, our travel time to downtown Chicago from the hotel varied from 30 minutes to over 1 hour.
Our stay at the Rosemont Embassy Suites was a pleasant one. We would stay here again.

Excellent service and overall experience.
I planned a meeting here, so we got a very good rate on the guest rooms. The hotel is designed with a middle courtyard where the daily breakfast is served and rooms around the perimeter. There are double doors to your suite. First room is the living room/office/mini kitchen complete with microwave and small fridge. The bathroom is next, followed by the bedroom. Bathroom was small but adequate. Pictures show the furnishings. There are two TVs in your room. They are both the older box style as opposed to flatscreen. Everything else in the room was newer.
For the meeting, everything was ready for us as specified. While I felt the AV services were overpriced, the staff were friendly and very helpful with our needs.
The breakfast (included) was plentiful and good with the made-to-order omelet and other standard breakfast fare. For our working lunch, I had the group look at the menu at their in-hotel restaurant, Basil's Kitchen, and pre-order their entrees. When we walked over for lunch, they had our table ready with little namecards for each person and then distributed our entrees once we were seated. Cute! The other groups that were meeting had lots of food set up at various times throughout the day and it looked good as well. For dinner we walked across the parking lot to Gibson’s Steakhouse (yum!).
If you need to go downtown, you can either take a taxi to the Rosemont station and hop on the Blue Line or (if you’re a pennypincher) just ride the free airport shuttle back to O’Hare and get on the Blue Line there.
In summary, the rooms are huge and up-to-date, the value is excellent, food was good, and service was perfect. If you need to plan a meeting in this area, I would recommend this hotel. Just be forewarned of the costly AV fees (perhaps that's because it's just outside Chicago?). Also I wanted to point out that my meeting was a small one compared to other groups there during my stay, and yet I felt I received as much attention and service as if we were a larger group.
